The role
As a Formulation Chemist, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and improving chemical formulations to meet customer and business needs. You will play a key role in driving innovation, enhancing product performance, and ensuring solutions are both reliable and cost-effective.

 

Your focus will include:

- Designing, developing, and testing new chemical formulations

- Researching raw materials and monitoring industry trends

- Improving the performance and efficiency of existing products

- Conducting competitor product analysis to identify opportunities for innovation

- Coordinating with production, regulatory, and commercial teams to support smooth product launch

- Managing multiple projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and standards

 

What you bring

- Degree or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (essential)

- Strong background in formulation (academic or industrial)

- Fresh graduates and experienced candidates will be considered

- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability

- Clear, confident communication and the ability to collaborate across teams

- Organisational skills to manage several projects simultaneously

- Experience in pulp or paper formulation (advantageous but not essential)
